「猴子蘭花」是紅門蘭屬(Orchis genus)的一種，也被稱作「猴子花」。
諷刺的是，猴子喜歡投擲排泄物，而這個「猴子花」就正好以其刺激性的味道聞名，有人說那種味道就很像是排泄物。
